Reducing our carbon footprint needs to be one of HRM's top priorities. We can all do our part in contributing to the global cause of fighting climate change.
Some of this can be tackled with:

Continued support for HRM's Solar City program
Andrew supports "HalifACT 2050 Acting on Climate Together", HRM's long range plan to greatly reduce emissions in 30 years, by 2050.
It is hoped that with dedicated bus lanes, that many more drivers will opt to leave their cars at home in favour of using the bus for their commute to work, or school. With completely connected bike lanes, making it safer for bicycle rider's, and with less cars on the road, we are helping the environment.
